Description: Rolling Meadows Park District has two separate ice arenas to offer the public. The Sports Complex is a single sheet (85' x 185') facility with lockerooms, figure skating pro shop, skate rental, full concession, gymnastics center, fitness center, Olympic size outdoor pool and lighted baseball fields. West Meadows Ice Arena (3939 Winnetka Ave., Rolling Meadows, 847-398-2700) features a single sheet (85' x 200') ice surface with seating up to 1500, six full-size locker rooms with showers, full concession area, hockey pro shop, fitness workout room, dance and shooting room. Call the arena for public skate hours. Directions: Sports Complex Directions: From Rte 53 and Algonquin Rd: Exit Algonquin Rd.; East (Left) on Algonquin Rd. to Magnolia St (Stop Light); Left on Magnolia St. to first stop sign (Frontage Rd.), Left on Frontage Rd. to Central Rd., Right on Central Rd. to Owl Drive, Left on Owl Drive, 1.5 blks to Sports Complex (right-hand side of street). West Meadows Directions: Rte 53, exit Euclid West to 1st stop light (Hicks Rd.), Right on Hicks Rd. to 1st street on right (Winnetka Ave.); Right on Winnetka Ave, 1 blk to West Meadows Arena on right-hand side of street.
