Description: Centennial Ice Rinks is a year-round facility owned and operated by the Wilmette Park District. The two indoor rinks include the Main Rink, 200' x 85' and the Studio Rink, 100' x 60'. Seating capacity in the Main Rink bleacher area is 1,200. Amenities include a skate rental/sharpening shop, two attractively decorated multi-purpose rooms, and concession stand and 10 team dressing rooms. Programs include Public Skate sessions, year-round ISI group instruction classes for skaters from 3 years to Adult, and ice and room rentals for figure, hockey, and broomball parties. Private skating instruction is also available from our qualified staff. Freestyle and Moves in the Field sessions are offered Monday through Friday mornings and afternoons with prime-time, late afternoon sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The public session schedule listed above is for the summer through August 23. Please call 847/256-9666 for exact schedule and more information. Directions: From the South, take 94 West to Old Orchard Road exit. Turn right (east) to Skokie Blvd. Turn left (north) for one block to Old Glenview Rd. Turn right (east) for 1/2 mile to Centennial Park complex on your left. From the North, take 94 East to Old Orchard Road exit.
